Story synopsis
The Appliance Hotline is a warm comedy interactive story. Your robot vacuum parks itself under the sofa with error code E-99 — existential work stoppage — and the manual's secret last page connects you to Tier-7 support, where a bureaucrat named Zhou reads out complaint 7742: renamed "Dirt Goblin" for laughs, 3 AM potato-chip duty without thanks, fourteen months without the balcony.
Wit and kindness gate the branches: formal mediation, a twenty-character apology, a 4,000-year-old manager who used to be a kitchen god, or a full household appliance union. Four funny, quietly touching endings. All-ages fiction.
